Water film foam fire extinguisher

AFFF foam fire extinguisher is a new and efficient fire extinguisher composed of fluorosurfactants, hydrocarbon surfactants, solvents, stabilizers and other components. In addition to the significant characteristics of fluoroprotein foam fire extinguisher, it can quickly form a layer of water film on the surface of hydrocarbon substances to inhibit their evaporation. According to the mixing ratio with fresh water or sea water, it is divided into AFFF-3 type and AFFF-6% type.

During the firefighting process, the water separated from the foam layer of AFFF foam liquid can form a well-closed water film on the surface of the fuel, which can isolate the contact between the fuel and air. With the dual action of foam and protective film, it can quickly and efficiently extinguish oil fires. It has the advantages of good sealing performance, fast flow, and high strength against flame back. It is an excellent Class B fire control and fire extinguishing agent. In extinguishing Class A fires, AFFF foam liquid is also an excellent wetting and penetrating agent, which can quickly extinguish deep-seated flames in woodpiles, paper, rubber and other easily flammable materials.
