1. Product Introduction

The PHYM series tank pressure foam proportioning device is a displacement foam proportioning device. When the pressure water passes through the proportioning mixer, the water and foam liquid can be automatically mixed in a certain proportion, and the foam mixture is output for the air foam generator, air foam gun and other foaming and injection devices to generate air foam for fire extinguishing. The characteristic of this device is that a diaphragm (capsule) made of synthetic rubber is installed in the tank to separate the foam liquid from the water. It is suitable for various low-multiple foam liquids, and the remaining foam liquid can continue to be used after fire extinguishing or debugging. The pressure foam proportioning device is suitable for foam fire extinguishing systems that require both small and large flows. There is no need to use proportioning mixers in different areas, which simplifies the pipeline layout, reduces costs and optimizes performance.

2. Scope of use

It is widely used to extinguish Class A, B and C liquid fires. It is suitable for oil refineries, chemical plants, oil depots, oil fields, oil docks, tankers, underground parking garages, hangars, airports and fuel boilers.

3. Structure and working principle

The pressure foam proportioning device is mainly composed of a foam storage tank, a rubber capsule, a pressure proportioning mixer, a safety valve, a water inlet pipeline, a liquid outlet pipeline, a drain valve, a liquid discharge valve, an exhaust valve, etc. When the pressure water source of the fire pump enters the pressure reducing orifice of the proportioning mixer through the water supply pipeline, a pressure difference will be formed before and after the orifice. Most of the pressure water is sprayed out to the diffuser through the nozzle, forming a low-pressure mixing chamber between the nozzle and the diffuser. A small part of the water at the high pressure enters the tank through the water inlet pipeline, squeezes the capsule, and presses the foam liquid in the capsule out of the liquid outlet pipeline, enters the low-pressure mixing chamber of the proportioning mixer, and mixes with most of the water flowing through the nozzle to form a foam mixture, which is transported to the foam generation and other injection equipment to generate air foam for fire extinguishing.

1) The water flow direction of the proportional mixer can be adjusted according to the user's design needs, which must be stated in advance;

2) The tank diameter can also be adjusted appropriately according to the user's site, which must be stated in advance;

3) Due to different tank volumes, the drain and exhaust positions may differ from the diagram. The actual tank shall prevail.
