Product Introduction

1. Product Description

The PHYM series pressure foam proportion mixing device is a displacement-type foam proportion mixing device. When pressure water passes through the proportion mixer, it can automatically mix water and foam liquid in a certain proportion and output the foam mixing liquid, which is used for producing air foam by air foam generators, air foam guns and other foaming and spraying devices for fire extinguishing. The device is characterized by a diaphragm (capsule) made of synthetic rubber installed in the storage tank, which separates the foam liquid from the water and is suitable for various low-multiple foam liquids. The remaining foam liquid after firefighting or commissioning can continue to be used. The pressure foam proportion mixing device is suitable for foam fire extinguishing systems that require both small and large flow rates, and the proportion mixer does not need to be used in separate areas, simplifying pipeline layout, reducing costs and optimizing performance.

2. Scope of Application:

Widely used in extinguishing Class A, B, and C liquid fires. It is used in refineries, chemical plants, oil depots, oil fields, oil docks, oil tankers, underground parking garages, airplane hangars, airports, and fuel boilers.

3. Structure and Working Principle

The pressure foam proportion mixing device is mainly composed of a foam storage tank, rubber bladder, pressure proportion mixer, safety valve, inlet pipeline, outlet pipeline, drainage valve, discharge valve, and exhaust valve. When the fire water pump pressure water source enters the pressure reducing orifice plate of the proportion mixer through the water supply pipeline, a pressure difference is formed before and after the orifice plate. The majority of the pressure water is sprayed towards the diffusion tube through the nozzle, forming a low-pressure mixing chamber between the nozzle and the diffusion tube. A small amount of high-pressure water enters the tank through the inlet pipeline, and squeezes the bladder to press the foam liquid in the bladder out of the outlet pipe and enter the low-pressure mixing chamber of the proportion mixer, where it is mixed with the majority of water passing through the nozzle to form the foam mixing liquid, which is transported to foam-generating and other spraying equipment to produce air foam for fire extinguishing.

Note:

1) The water flow direction of the proportion mixer can be adjusted according to the user's design needs and must be declared in advance.

2) The tank diameter can also be appropriately adjusted according to the user's site and must be declared in advance.

3) The water discharge and exhaust positions may differ from the illustration depending on the size of the tank and should be based on the actual product.
