I. Characteristics and Uses of the Product

ZFP dry powder fire extinguishing device is powered by nitrogen gas, providing pressure to the dry powder tank and pushing the dry powder extinguishing agent through the pipeline to discharge the dry powder gun or dry powder gun to extinguish solid, oil, gas, and electrical fires.

This device is applicable to flammable and explosive places such as hazardous material warehouses, liquefied gas equipment, large quenching oil tanks, gas stations, indoor and outdoor large transformers, oil pipelines, natural gas wells, oil tank trains, and petroleum chemical industry.

II. Working Principle

The extinguishing device is filled with dry powder extinguishing agent. The dry powder extinguishing agent is a dry and flowable fine powder used for fire-fighting. It is composed of inorganic salts with fire-extinguishing efficiency and a small amount of additives, which are dried, ground, and mixed into fine solid powder. It is a widely used fire extinguishing agent in fire fighting, mainly used in fire extinguishers. In addition to the special dry chemical fire extinguishing agent used to extinguish metal fires, dry powder extinguishing agents are generally classified into two categories: BC dry powder extinguishing agents and ABC dry powders. Dry powder extinguishing agents mainly use physical and chemical effects that occur when the mist sprayed out under the action of compressed gas contacts and mixes with flames to extinguish fires. In addition, there is also a part of diluting oxygen and cooling.

When a fire occurs, open the nitrogen cylinder valve, reduce the pressure through the pressure reducing valve, and then provide pressure to the dry powder tank to push the dry powder extinguishing agent through the pipeline to the dry powder gun or the dry powder gun for fire extinguishing.
