1 Introduction

YGFZ1000 mobile dry powder fire extinguishing device is a new type of fire fighting equipment between dry powder fire truck and dry powder fixed device. It combines the advantages of the two fire fighting equipment and makes scientific innovations on the complicated operation of the two, making it more concise to operate and more reliable to use. This device is mainly used in oil fields, oil depots, gas stations, hangars, large warehouses, civil and military airports, especially in petrochemical enterprises, construction and maintenance sites of oil and gas pipelines, and fixed targets with fire hazards.

2. Working Principle

2.1 Working Principle of Dry Powder System Using nitrogen as the power, the nitrogen and dry powder in the dry powder tank undergo energy conversion, that is, the pressure potential energy of nitrogen is converted into the kinetic energy of dry powder, which is then launched through a dry powder launching device (dry powder cannon or dry powder gun).

3. Operation method Correct operation and reasonable use can not only enable the equipment to be put into battle quickly and successfully complete the fire-fighting task, but also ensure its maximum possible function and extend its service life, so it must be taken seriously. Attention!!! When performing all the following work, the vehicle must be parked and the screw support must be lowered.

3.1 Inspection

3.1.1 Check the nitrogen tank pressure

3.1.1.1 Remove the joint connected to the nitrogen cylinder valve;

3.1.1.2 Install the nitrogen cylinder pressure check gauge (attachment)

3.1.1.3 Open the valve of the nitrogen cylinder and the pressure gauge will display the pressure of the nitrogen cylinder. If the pressure is lower than 12MPa, the nitrogen cylinder should be inflated immediately.

3.1.1.4 Confirm that the valve of the nitrogen cylinder is closed, remove the connecting pipe, and test and check the cylinder pressure.

3.1.1.5 Reconnect the connected connectors.

3.1.2 Check whether the dry powder monitor 13 (Figure 2) can rotate up and down and left and right flexibly.

3.1.3 Check whether the powder discharge ball valve 12 (Figure 2) of the dry powder monitor is in the closed position.

3.1.4 Check whether the gun purge valve, tank residual air valve 11 (Figure 2), gun purge control valve 9 (Figure 2), and dry powder gun powder discharge control valve 7 (Figure 2) are in the closed position.

3.2 Fill the dry powder tank with gas. Open the nitrogen bottle valve to complete the filling of the dry powder tank.

3.3 Dry powder monitor operation method 4.3.1 Inflate the tank according to the provisions of 4.2.

3.3.2 After the positioning constraint is released, the dry powder monitor can be rotated within the horizontal range of 180° and the vertical range of -15° to +45°.

3.3.3 Turn the dry powder cannon to the target.

3.3.4 The pressure of dry powder tank is 1.4~1.6MPa.

3.3.5 Open the powder ball valve to spray dry powder.

3.4 Operation of dry powder launcher

3.4.1 Inflate the tank according to the requirements of 43.2.

3.4.2 Pull out the reel hose and make it smooth.

3.4.3 Open the powder discharge control valve of the dry powder gun.

3.4.4 Open the valve on the dry powder launcher to spray dry powder.

3.5 pack powder

3.5.1 First check whether the bolts of the residual powder flange at the bottom of the dry powder tank are loose, whether the rubber seal is intact, and whether it is placed correctly. If the above phenomenon occurs, first replace the rubber seal or place it correctly, and tighten the bolts evenly.

3.5.2 Open the powder filling port cover 8 (Figure 1) and check whether there is water accumulation, debris and damp agglomerated residual dry powder in the tank. If there is, it should be cleared. It is strictly forbidden to put agglomerated dry powder or debris into the tank when filling powder to avoid clogging the pipeline and causing accidents. Try to avoid filling powder in high temperature and humid climate.

3.5.3 When installing the powder filling port cover, the tank mouth and sealing gasket must be wiped clean and no dry powder or other debris should be present to avoid air leakage on the sealing surface.

3.6 System purge There is residual dry powder in the dry powder cannon pipeline and dry powder gun pipeline after use. If it is stored in the pipeline for a long time, it will be damp, deteriorate, agglomerated, and blocked. Therefore, the pipeline should be purged after each use. The system purge gas comes from the residual gas in the dry powder tank.

3.6.1 Purge the dry powder gun pipeline: Before purging, point the gun muzzle at the open field, open the gun purge and residual air valve 11 (Figure 2) to start purging.

3.6.2 Purge the dry powder gun pipeline: Before purging, first close the gun powder control valve 7 (Figure 2), pull open the dry powder reel hose, smooth it, open the valve on the dry powder gun, and then open the purge control valve 9 (Figure 2) to purge. If the dry powder in the hose cannot be blown clean or the dry powder does not flow during the purge process, shake the hose to increase the flow of dry powder until the dry powder gun pipeline is purged clean.

3.7 Discharge of residual gas If the dry powder tank is not used after being inflated, or only a part of it is used, the residual gas in the dry powder tank should be discharged. The residual gas discharge and gun purge valve 11 (Figure 2) of the dry powder tank is installed under the gun. Before opening the residual gas discharge valve, first turn off the nitrogen bottle valve, and then open the residual gas discharge valve to discharge the residual gas in the dry powder tank.

4. Maintenance and care:

4.1 The device should be placed in a dry, sheltered place. When storing, the screw support should be lowered to reduce the load on the spring steel plate and tire, thereby increasing the life of the suspension and tire.

4.2 Keep the tire in working condition. If it is flat, inflate it immediately. The inflation pressure is 450KPa.

4.3 The maintenance, care and inspection of nitrogen cylinders shall be carried out in accordance with relevant regulations. This device requires that the cylinder pressure be checked every three months. The inspection method is as per 3.1.1. If the pressure is lower than 12MPa (20℃), it should be refilled.

4.4 Dry powder tanks are pressure vessels and their maintenance should be carried out in accordance with the "Regulations on Safety Supervision of Pressure Vessels".

4.5 The safety valve of the dry powder tank is a safety device and must be inspected once a year. The opening pressure of the dry powder safety valve is 1.6MPa.

4.6 The dry powder monitor should be checked regularly to ensure smooth operation and the grease in the oil nozzle should be filled. After each use, the powder ball valve and dry powder monitor should be wiped and cleaned.

4.7 The corner wheels are used for parking and manual pushing. When the vehicle is towed, the corner wheels must be raised to avoid damage to them.
